Sailing the Seas of Uncertainty

Life has a wonderful way of surprising us. Life can change unexpectedly in an instant. While some of these unexpected changes can be seen as negative, we never really know what will come from such changes. Even the most difficult circumstances can bring about the most beautiful changes in life. I have experienced a number of unexpected changes in my life and each time I have been amazed where such changes have led me. 

I've recently embarked on a new adventure, and although I have no idea what will happen, I'm excited to see how it will unfold. I trust that no matter what I'm always supported and guided. Recently, while discussing my new change with a friend, I said to her "I'm sailing the seas of uncertainty," she nodded in agreement. I knew just by that sentence alone that there was a poem brewing. Yesterday morning, I woke up with the words "my heart is my compass" in my mind. I knew it was time to write the poem. 

I thought I would share this poem as I suspect I am not the only one navigating the "seas of uncertainty," especially with all that has happened over the past two years. I trust that this poem will remind you all that you too have your own compass in your heart, guiding you to the wonderful and unimaginable possibilities. I hope that if you decide to embark on a new adventure that you embrace the journey just as much as, if not more, as reaching the destination.
